Your Role
Our People Manager will be an effective leader who cares about every employee's growth and well-being and can also manage people effectively. From handling interpersonal conflicts to building company culture, you will play an important role in the success of Fifty. You will understand your team members and care about Fifty's growth and the people in it.
Your Responsibilities
People
- Introduce a thorough talent acquisition strategy to ensure a high calibre of candidates are recruited across all disciplines
- Develop and deliver people strategies, processes and frameworks to attract, engage, develop and retain employees
- Manage relationships with external partners – recruitment agencies, HR tech providers etc.
- Be the first point of contact for all day-to-day HR advice and support for managers and colleagues
- Manage and provide process/guidance of complex employee relations issues
- Oversee hiring/recruitment process (as supported/executed by the People Executive)
Culture
- Take responsibility for Fifty's culture and values and how this is presented company wide
- Promoting and maintaining our Diversity, Equality and Inclusion policies/processes
- Drive continuous learning through coordinating and implementing L&D strategies and plans
- Constantly update and ensure our policies and benefits are best in class for company size and industry
- Support the marketing team on initiatives such as, awards applications (employee related), culture calendar, careers page/talent acquisition marketing strategies
Process
- Conduct and design regular feedback surveys on employee engagement
- Update and ensure efficient running of bi-annual employee reviews, leveraging our software & tools
- Update and interpret employment law and best practice to ensure advice, policy and procedure is accurate and up to date
- Maintain employee files and records across the employee lifecycle
- Manage a third-party HR/people platform
- Manage the monthly payroll with the finance team (& external provider as needed)
Your Essential Skills
- Minimum CIPD level 5 qualified or equivalent work experience
- Experience working in a small / medium sized company where you are the lead in HR related matters
- Expert at handling and running employee related matters and a solid understanding of best practices and legal guidance (ACAS etc)
- Strong communication skills, able to influence and be a trusted member of the management team
- Commerciality & pragmatism in decision making
- Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
- Strong organiser with the ability to introduce new methodologies of working, uses appropriate tools
- Experience with 360 recruitment from advertising to onboarding
- Eager to learn and stay abreast of new developments in technology and ways of improving systems and work

Your Salary
£45,000 - £50,000

Our Logistics
Our process consists of:
- 15 minute meeting with our People Exec to bring your CV to life and give you an insight into working at Fifty
- 30 minute video meeting with the hiring team who will ask and answer role specific questions
- Task based interview focusing on your experiences
- Face-to-face values based interview with one of our directors and our People Manager
We are able to let you know if you are invited to an interview or not. However, we do receive a lot of applications and as a small team we are sometimes unable to give individual feedback on each application.
